Synopsis: A group of soldiers is ordered to hold a bridge during a zombie outbreak, but what lives underneath the bridge proves to be even more deadly
Bridge of the Doomed is a throwback-style film that will take you back to the B-Movies of the ‘70s and ‘80s. It is a huge difference between the Mahal’s other efforts this year from Death Count. It has a more respectable storyline, likable characters which I thought was missing severely from Death Count. If you’ve been following the Mahal Brothers for as long as I have, you’ll get a kick out of Bridge of The Doomed.
Robert LaSardo is phenomenal at his character of General Vasquez. Michael Pare also gives us some veteran charisma to the screen as the actor also commands the screen whenever he’s on screen. The acting is great for this kinda movie that will bring you back to the glory days of Roger Corman produced films.
It’s such an entertaining watch, you can invite a few friends and have a few drinks and cheer at the tv when the killing ensues. It’s fast paced and full of adrenaline.
Overall Grade: 4/5 Stars
