We decided to take a special look at the Snyder Cut and we fell in love with it.
The time has come, it’s time to bring the United together. Zack Snyder’s Justice League seemed like a film of mythical proportion, a production that was teased ever since the abysmal Joss Whedon cut came into theaters back in 2017 and significantly bombed in cinemas. It’s also very divisive between fans of comic book movies and critics. Rather you’re on board for the Snyder Cut or not.
However, we were finally able to see it and it lives up to the hype, also it won’t be what you expect it to be. No matter what you think is going to happen. Yes it’s four hours long but it flies by where most films above three hours seem to have an hour that just drags, Justice League doesn’t. The tone of the Snyder Cut is also surprising. If you’re expecting an extremely grim tale, you won’t get it here.
It is worth the 4 years of waiting, hoping, and waiting again. Featuring stellar performances including one redemption of Ray Fisher’s character as well as the hyped up cameo of Jared Leto, which may have thrown people off knowing how most hated him in Suicide Squad, though if you revisit it now it’s not bad. He has a full on redemption and I would love him to have a movie with Ben Affleck’s Batman on HBO Max.
I do want to avoid spoilers here but we’ve mainly seen glimpses of Steppenwolf’s new design for the Snyder Cut and it looks glorious throughout the film as well as Darkseid(who is better than Thanos) I wish we would’ve gotten this version from the get-go because we would have a DCEU that would rival the MCU.
Overall grade: 5/5 stars
