Red Band trailer shows Mortal Kombat is not messing around

FATALITY!!! The ultimate word of 90’s kids comes to life in this dark imagined reboot of the classic video game Mortal Kombat. Including the master of horror(modern horror) James Wan as an Executive Producer on the movie boost well for the fans.

Mortal Kombat features an ensemble cast of characters from the video games, including Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), Scorpion (Hiroyuki Sanada), Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), and Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee). The film is set to release in theaters and for streaming on HBO Max on April 16.

If theaters were a safe place to see a movie right now this is one I would love to see in 4DX with all the fighting going on would be tons of fun. I didn’t grow up playing the games myself because of the mature rating and I was too young for when it was at its peak. However this looks like the video game movie adaptations fans have been dying to see ever since the disappointing 90’s films.
