Mortal Kombat reboot debuting on HBO Max and Cinemas in April!

A new poster just dropped for the new Mortal Kombat movie that finally gives us its release date! I would have loved to see this one in IMAX but I’ll settle for my “75 inch tv to watch it.

Todd Garner added that we’ll finally be seeing the first trailer for Mortal Kombat in the new year. The cast of Mortal Kombat includes Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Chin Han as Shang Tsun, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Cadwell as Nitara, and Sisi Stringer as Mileena. with Lewis Tan playing an unknown role. The film has been helmed by Simon McQuoid from a script by Greg Russo with James Wan producing. Fans of the series will be pleased to know that the notoriously gruesome series won’t be toned down for the big-screen as Russo has previously teased that the film will be embracing its bloody origins.

With James Wan producing and it being a hard R rating, I am so pumped to see how this all plays out, I have faith in a James Wan production.

Mortal Kombat
will hit theaters and HBO Max on April 16, 2021

Are you excited for the reboot? Will you be in Cinemas or HBO Max?
