Love and Monsters Review

Love and Monsters is every science fictions romantic comedy lovers dream! It is so beautifully acted and written with a slew of cameos that’ll slap a smile on anyone face that is a film buff including a stellar scene stealing Michael Rooker, that elevates ever movie he is put into and Love and Monsters is no exception to that rule of thumb.

The visuals are stunning and a real big surprise here for what seems to be a movie dumped on PVOD in these weird times for films it would be a really great time at the movies on the big screen any other year under normal circumstances. Some movies you can tell everyone was having a fun time while filming. Love and Monsters is one where the cgi monsters didn’t hurt the film but instead the actors seemed to embrace the cgi surrounding them and had a blast with it.

Dylan O’ Brien really shines who was sure to be a breakout star as the scene stealer alongside Michael Keaton in American Assassin, now for sure will breakout to the hearts of many in Love and Monsters, which is once again one of the better science fiction films of the years and may be one of the top ten films of 2020.

Overall grade: 4/5 stars
