‘The Human Centipede’ actor Dieter Laser has passed away back on February 29th, aged 78

Genre fans will best know him as Dr. Heiter in The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and demented warden Bill Boss in The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence).

Laser was born in Kiel in 1942 and, despite doubts about his fundamentalist Christian upbringing, he entered acting at the age of sixteen when he asked the doorman of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus theater in Hamburg how to become an interpreter.

Laser later garnered attention for his lead role in the 1975 film. John Glückstadt, so he won the German Film Prize in Gold.
