Come To Daddy Review

Come To Daddy features an extravagant two-man show with an electrifying Elijah Wood and captivating Stephen McHattie. Elijah Wood has been in Hollywood and in the horror genre for a long time and has been more behind the camera lately with his production team SpectreVision. In the new movie by Ant Timpson he is forced to do a lot of selling to the audience and I for one bought all of Elijah Wood’s performance.

The premise is simple enough but it’s really up to the two co-stars to give a breath of fresh air to the film. I can’t praise Elijah Wood enough in his role visiting his estranged father. Stephen McHattie is still one cool sob. The twists and turns this film takes are really fun and not as bleak as the previous film we just reviewed in The Lodge.

Come To Daddy is much more user-friendly and entertaining for most of the horror genre fans especially those who want some action going on in the plot this one is for you.

A privileged man-child arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father, whom he hasn’t seen in 30 years. He quickly discovers that not only is his dad a jerk, he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with him.
