The Gangster, The Cop and The Devil off its premiere at Cannes is still making its lucrative festival run. A vengeful crime boss forms an unlikely partnership with a detective to catch the elusive serial killer who viciously attacked him. It sounds like a throwback style to Deadbeat By Dawn and we couldn’t be more excited.
Malik Bader‘s crime thriller Killerman, starring Liam Hemsworth and Emory Cohen. I’m a big fan of Liam’s work in “Isn’t it Romantic?” Moe Diamond is a New York City money launderer who wakes up with no memory and millions of dollars in stolen cash and drugs. He must soon scour the streets in search of answers while trying to dodge a crew of violent and crooked cops. We’re pumped to see Liam prove himself and get out of Chris’ shadow.
Also we’ve been hearing such great things about Lupita Nyong’o zombie comedy Little Monsters. Though personally I thought she was a tad over the top in “US” I’m looking forward to her in a zombie flick even if it’s comedy.
Satanic Panic, which just premiered at the Overlook Film Festival. A pizza delivery girl (Griffith) at the end of her financial rope who has to fight for her life and her tips when her last order of the night turns out to be for high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice. Now that sounds like my kind of horror! Bring it on!!
Critters Attack! The Shudder original didn’t live up to much fans expectations so we’re excited to see if this movie can bring back the awesomeness of the Critters. Description
A baby sitter takes kids on a hike, unaware an alien ship full of hungry critters has crash landed nearby.
