Annabelle Comes home gets shifted in its release date the new release date is now Wednesday, June 26th instead of its originally planned June 28th opening. This will give horror fans a packed block of theatrical horror releases leading up to the 4th of July, with Child’s Play opening on June 21st, Annabelle Comes Home on June 26th, and Midsommar on July 3rd. So with all this shifting going on horror fans should have a busy summer at the theaters but honestly the one I’m most looking forward to is Midsommar which looks like one of my all time favorites the original Wicker Man. Circulating back to Annabelle Comes Home it comes as not surprise that the studio opted moving the release date. Just 5 days after Child’s Play comes out it’ll be an interesting competition at the box office for sure those few weeks.
The plot is as follows for Annabelle Comes Home.
Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
