New Halloween poster shows off Todd McFarlane’s Michael Myer’s and it is bloody brilliant

Todd McFarlane is best known as a comic book creator he created Spawn and is also directing “Spawn” for Blumhouse so this is a cool way to get his stuff out there for the Blumhouse crowd and honestly this might be my favorite “Halloween” poster besides the original with the pumpkin and machete.

The detail is so grimmey and gritty its beautiful. We’re inching closer and closer to the release of the highly anticipated sequel… Yes it’s a sequel to the original “Halloween” not a remake.

I can’t wait to explain that to so many people this year. Will it live up to the hype is hard to say, everything we have seen has looked fantastic and a fan’s true dream. When it was making it rounds through the film festival circuit it got mixed responses from critics. Now that we’re playing the waiting game. October 19th is now the day we have marked on our calendars.

It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she’s ready for him.

Halloween is in theaters this October 19.
