The build up for Halloween has been nothing short of fantastic.
For fans of all things Halloween, it was exciting to hear that Michael Myers was going to get another movie in October 2018.
That news was only eclipsed by learning that David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, with the backing of Blumhouse Productions, had done fans of the franchise a huge favor and decided to create a film that would discard every sequel of the franchise.
The newest “sequel” will take place forty years after the original violent spree that took place in Haddonfield. It once again pits Michael Myers against Laurie Strode (played again by Jamie Lee Curtis).
While the classic confrontation – in and of itself – will be worth the ticket, fans have recently been given news that the film has received an R-rating. Furthermore, the MPAA has labeled it with such a rating due to ”horror violence and bloody images, language, brief drug use and nudity.”
Fans of Michael Myers should rejoice! Michael’s slow, methodical hunting of prey will now result in brutal deaths that only he can provide. One should expect to see Michael at his brutal and bloodiestbest.
