Video game fans rejoice! Netflix’s adaptation of the vampire epic “Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Cure” is renewed for not only a second season but there is a trailer.
The first season was fantastic considering it was only four episodes. This season however, is going to have eight episodes. I dont want to spoil it for anyone interested but it’s definitely worth checking out even if you’re not a fan of the video game franchise itself.
If you like vampire hunting and demon slaying action, give it a go. As a fan of the franchise, i’m happy that Netflix is continuing the story. The major plot involves a family of vampire hunters named the Belmounts.
Every one hundred years or so, a Belmount goes toe-to-toe with Dracula himself. Since he is the Prince of Darkness, he is very powerful and immortal. This is Dracula were talking about after all. In the earlier NES and Super Nintendo games, there’s always a different Belmount fighting Dracula. In the game Dracula’s Curse, protagonist Trevor Belmount enlists help from the son of Dracula, Alucard and witch, Slypha to defeat Dracula once and for all. If you like edgy anime that involves horror, vampires, profanity, buckets of blood and a little humor along the way, this is the show for you.
