Hulu and Blumhouse Join Forces for Holiday Horror Saga ‘Into The Dark’

The television division of Blumhouse is joining the US Hulu subscription video-on-demand site to offer us a new horror series of twelve episodes: Into The Dark.

Presented as an anthology, each episode will be inspired by a calendar festival and broadcast on the first Friday of the corresponding month. The atmosphere also promises to be true to the signature of the production house, which currently works with a wide selection of filmmakers, creators and actors to bring this adventure to life.

The first episode directed by Paul Davis (Beware the Moon: Remembering the American Werewolf in London) will be released on October 5, 2018 with the story entitled The Body, adaptation of his short film of 2013. Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient) Express) stars with Rebecca Rittenhouse (Unfriended: Dark Web), Aurora Perrineau (Passengers, Freaks of Nature), David Hull (Dark Tapes) and Ray Santiago (Ash Vs Evil Dead, Trash Fire).

In Los Angeles, Halloween night, the story follows a sophisticated and overconfident hitman whose victim becomes part of his elaborate costume.

The second episode, to be broadcast on November 2, 2018, is Flesh & Blood by director Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 2009, Dracula 2001) and features Dermot Mulroney (Insidious: Chapter 3), an adorable father trying to help his agoraphobic girl, Dana Silver, to handle the unresolved murder of her mother. This story will take place the day before Thanksgiving.
